I was over the moon when Jamie and Jake asked me to be a part of their special day next year! Jamie is one of the most sweet and thoughtful people I have met. She is truly beautiful inside and out. Jamie and I met each other a few years ago at Salon Picasso in Abbotsford. She is a very talented makeup artist there and  I had her do my makeup a few years ago for my “Trash the Dress” session. I was blown at how amazing she made me look! (Thanks again for working your magic on me) Jamie is one of those women who you admire in every way! She isn’t afraid to be herself, show off her bubbly personality and take every opportunity to laugh and enjoy herself and lets face it she is a knock out! Jake you are one lucky guy!!

Jamie and I had so much fun messaging back and forth with all our ideas for her and Jake’s engagement session. Jamie mentioned that Jake is a football player so we knew we had to incorporate that into their session and I was bursting at the seems with excitement when the day finally came. We started their session at Campbell Valley Regional Park in Langley as I was dying to take some photos in the lupine field there. Boy do I love lupines especially with a gorgeous couple to photograph with them!! We then ended our session at Mcleod Athletic Park with some fun football themed photos.  I seriously could have photographed these two for hours! In fact our session was one of the longest I have ever had and I LOVED it.

As we walked along the trail to the lupine field I saw this walkway with the perfect little spot of light in it and I knew I just had to have a picture of them standing right in the middle. The first photo below is the VERY first photo I took of the entire session!! Usually it takes awhile to warm up but these two were naturals right from the start. 

The only word I can think of to describe Jamie and Jake together is stunning! Jake makes her light up and its clear she adores him. He was very gentle and sweet with her and always made sure she was ok and went along with all our crazy ideas! Jake I give you serious props for going along with all my ideas and agreeing to are ridiculously long session not many guys would do that and for that I adore you. I can only image their marriage with be full of love, laughter and lots of adventures!

I can’t WAIT for their beautiful wedding next summer at Whonnock Lake!!
