I just adore this beautiful family!  I had the honour of doing Katrina and Dan’s maternity photos last year and we hit it off right away. I had Katrina climbing logs and wrestling with black berry bushes to get just the right shot and she never complained once. Now here we are a year later and I was so thrilled when they asked me to capture their beautiful daughter Tara’s first birthday. We started our session with a few family photos before Tara got to have her cake smash. She sure was a character for all her pictures and didn’t mind digging into her cake until she realized just how messy she was. Well the tears came but I have to say she still looked cute! (Oh and her furry friend Sam even made an appearance at the end of our session and helped us clean up the mess.) Thanks again Katrina and Dan for making me a part of Tara’s special celebration!
