Part two of Laina and Colin’s Willband Creek engagement session has to be one of my favourites from last year!! I remember leaving Cascade Falls the day before and driving home along the Mission bypass. I saw people skating on the frozen pond and I just knew I had to get them out there to do a session. I immediately messaged Laina as soon as I got home to see if her and Colin were up for one more session the next day. See, Laina and I share the same love for figure skating as we both were competitive figure skaters for years and I knew we just had to make this happen. I must mention this was the first time in nearly 20 years that it was this cold to maintain outdoor rinks so I knew it was a once in a life time opportunity we couldn’t pass up. I was over the moon when Laina and Colin agreed to meet me for a second session and to make one of my dream sessions a reality. We met up the next evening and the weather was perfect!
