I just love these two! I have had the pleasure of photographing them three times now and each time I realize just how much I cherish them. Tracey and I have become so close since our first meeting at Starbucks nearly two years ago. We both have a love for the outdoors, adventure and of course tea! Yes I said tea! This girl knows the way to my heart when she showers me with Starbucks gift cards and David’s Tea.
When we were planning this session we tossed around a few different ideas but ultimately decided on Manning Park. Tracey told me that her and Curtis had dreamed of getting married there and I of course LOVE it there especially in the winter! Plus who doesn’t love snow, mountains and a good looking couple?! We headed up on a Saturday afternoon together and I loved getting to drive up with them. We chatted the whole way…sorry if I chatted your ear’s of lol.
We started our session at the Alpine ski hill and got some epic photos but it was a very quick trip up and down. The winds were so bad once up there the windchill was too much to bare. After that we went to Lightning Lake for some more formal bridal portraits. Tracey had Britt from Quik Pik Flowers & Gifts make her a stunning bouquet that was absolutely perfect for their session and my good friend Tasha March from Inspired Makeup Artistry did Tracey’s make-up. Amazing job you two!
Thanks again so much Tracey and Curtis for adventuring around Manning Park with me and asking me to capture these amazing memories. I cant wait for the next time we get to hang out..tea soon?!
