This family has truly stolen my heart! Aly and Kyle contacted me in spring to be their wedding photographer for their beautiful July wedding next year. When I met Aly we hit it off right away. It felt like I was meeting a life long friend for coffee. These two are just so easy going and I really can not wait till their wedding next year. When we started talking about locations for their family session we thought of Campbell Valley right away. It’s the perfect back drop for a family session and I just love all the different scenery at every turn. The day of their session session the weather was calling for rain but we decided to go ahead and see if the weather gods were wrong. Well they weren’t unfortunately but lucky for us it held out long enough to get some amazing shots. I messaged Aly after our session and we decided to finish off the rest of their session at the Vedder river in Chilliwack. We planned it on a dry sunny day or so we thought. We did stay dry but the sun was most definitely not out and our idea of beautiful golden sun just wasn’t going to happen for us. But the one thing we did was make the best of it and the end result is even better than I could have imagined. The river was gorgeous that day. The trees were golden and the light was perfect! I hope you all enjoy their session as much as I do and keep an eye out for more of these two when I shoot their engagement session in the next few weeks!
