I wrote a list of goals at the beginning of 2018 and a bunch were smaller goals but then I had a few larger ones, ones I thought were just dreams. I knew I really needed to put myself out there this year to make them happen and reached out to different vendors. I thought what the heck the worst that could happen was that they would say no. But to my HUGE surprise they all agreed to make my dreams come true. Doing a helicopter photoshoot was at the top of my list! I really have to thank my amazing friend and fellow photographer Morgan for giving me the push to just go for it. I love you girl!
I really wanted to work with a local helicopter company so I contacted BC Helicopters in the winter and ran the idea by them and they were fully on board. Simon and Daniella were my go to’s and absolutely amazing to work with! I can’t say enough about them both. (Just check out Simon carrying my gear and pulling smoke bombs for me during the shoot.) It wasn’t an easy shoot to plan as we got postponed three times before the shoot actually happened, darn BC weather! On the day of the shoot I was bummed to see clouds but little did I know the sky would light up in the end with this most gorgeous golden glow. It truly was magical!
When I thought of the perfect couple to join me I just knew it had to Lindsay and Tanner. These two won me over from the very first time I met them. They just radiate happiness and the spark they have for one another is out of this world, just look at the pictures for proof. You can’t be around them without a smile on your face. I just adore you two so much and thanks for being a part of a huge moment in my life. Love you both lots!!
Lastly, a very special thank to Alyssa from AJR Designs for making me another killer bouquet. Girl your talent is insane!! Tia for her amazing work on Lindsay’s hair from Hair By Mattia. Jenna from West Coast Jewelry for creating another amazing hairpiece for me. Derek from Cardero Clothing for providing Tanner’s suit. I couldn’t have completed my vision without all of you so thanks x a million. Check out our shoot on Rocky Mountain Bride.
