Aly & Kyle: Chilliwack Backyard Wedding Photographer

Where to begin with Aly and Kyle’s wedding!! It was seriously perfection and it was all put together with such special care and attention to every detail. Aly and Kyle along with their family did everything themselves including the meal! These two really hit the lottery when it comes to families and you can really see all the love and thought that went to every detail from them all. I must also mention that their bbq dinner was THE most amazing meal I have had!! This family can really put on a party and I want to be invited to them all, lol.

The ceremony was held at Kyle’s grandmas and it was beyond perfect. We had the most gorgeous weather and Aly and Kyle were just glowing when they saw each other. It was one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies that included both of their gorgeous boys.  Their oldest son Cole had the huge honour of announcing them for the first time as husband and wife. It was the cutest thing ever and you could just tell he was so proud. We then headed to the always gorgeous vine wall on the old military base in Chilliwack. It was so lush and green it made the most perfect backdrop. After portraits we were off to the reception which was on a private property in Ryder Lake and this place was AMAZING! I mean not one detail was missed and it was like we were in our own little world up there. There was a caesar bar, loads of backyard games, a photo booth station and so much more. Then these two ended the evening with the most romantic first dance surrounded by their family and friends followed by a very emotional and sentimental tribute dance for Aly’s father. I just love how he was incorporated into the wedding so perfectly. Just check out the beautifully hand sown ring bearer pillow that was made from one of his shirts I’m sure it will be cherished forever. During the tribute dance Aly’s son Cole, her sister,brother, uncle, and step mother each took a moment to dance with her and show her how loved and supported she is. I really don’t think there was a dry eye around.

I know I have said this before but it’s honestly hard to believe sometimes that this is what I do for work. I LOVE knowing that I’m the one that gets to capture these moments and I honestly cry, laugh and smile from ear to ear when I’m editing. I’m so invested in my couples and I feel by the end of their big day I never want it to end. So I just stalk them shamelessly through social media and ask them for random coffee dates…sorry when you hire me you are stuck with me. My heart feels full and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter has in store for you two. Aly and Kyle thanks again from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing time in your lives and witnessing your absolute unconditional love for one another! I love you guys and I look forward to many coffee and hopefully wine dates in the future <3
